The ScanSnap S510 can be used to generate either standard or searchable PDF files. The operator can scan to view, to file or to ScanSnap organizer.

ScanSnap organizer V3.0 is a filing and archiving tool. Images are presented as thumbnail views which if scanned as a searchable pdf provides a powerful look up facility.

ScanSnap comes with a seamless integration of ABBY Finereader OCR 2.0 which facilitates scanning directly into editable Word, Excel or PowerPoint 2003.

ScanSnap comes with CardMinder V3.0 which facilitates Business Card Scanning and also the data to be exported to Microsoft Outlook, Express, ACT or any CSV file.

Automatic Colour Detection, blank page removal and image deskew. Short cuts can be created using user definable settings.

ScanSnap does NOT support Twain or ISIS drivers.
